Testing a product is EASIER than you think
Nobody’s asking you to reinvent the wheel
You don’t need 20 customer personas and a 3-hour brainstorm session
You just need:
- A proven angle
- 10–20 creative variations
- A good offer
And the balls to spend
Facebook decides what works
Your job is to feed the machine
I made a full SOP that shows exactly how I test products step by step
RT + comment “TEST” and I’ll send it
(Must be following so I can DM)
I think end of this year there won’t be many big MRR brands left on SP
Unless they are SUPER compliant which makes profitability a lot harder
Now even Elare switched to the best CRM in the game
Fully customisable checkout with google and apple pay⚡️
Remember Elare?
The subscription brand that got its Shopify Payments shut down?
Well...
Their checkout is live again.
And guess what?
They didn’t come back with Shopify Payments.
They switched to a third-party CRM.
But here's the funniest part...
You'd think getting shut down would make them MORE compliant.
Right?
Wrong.
They went the opposite direction.
Before:
You could at least find the delivery frequency.
Now?
Good luck.
It's nowhere to be seen on the checkout.
Instead of regretting the tactics that got them clipped...
They doubled down.
The lesson?
The brands scaling the hardest aren't thinking:
"How do I stay fully compliant?"
They're thinking:
"How do I keep processing?"
@SuppsCopyChief Well if you check, like 70-80% of big mrr brands are running aggressive subscription model. And SP been banning them left and right
The shift to MIDs and CRMs will definitely be big this year
@lukajoviccc@swordmaster18 They don’t even accept merchants with low revenue. So not gonna send them time wasters
If you have experience i can connect u with my guy
Bro said 60% COGS😭
If you don’t do MRR (which is almost a must nowadays)
You need to be at MAX 25-30% cogs
With subscriptions you need to get as many subscribers as possible, so i usually do like 40-50% cogs
$200K/month feels like success until you see the margins.
60% COGS. 20% on ads. 8% returns.
You're taking home 12%. $24K on $200K.
That's not a scaling business. That's an expensive job. Margin is the only number that matters.
WATCH OUT FOR THIS WHEN LAUNCHING ADS!!
It keeps turning on automatically, imagine putting your pdp link and it send people to the homepage😭
Meta literally hiding it too, it wasn't there when first creating the ad.
Then i went in later again to edit something and noticed it...
So check again after publishing the ads!
Shopify changing people’s checkout automatically
“Pay as guest” or “pay and save my info”
How do we disable this?
It’s absolutely obliterating mine and your CVR’s
@cjfeth It’s not only scammers that get banned you know that, anyone that doesn’t know exactly what they’re doing (which is most people) will make some mistaken and get screwed.
No one is doing WH anymore, we’re all at least doing GH with the fake claims/reviews etc
SP for MRR works fine until they shut you down
And your $2m, $3m, $4m of adspend to acquire those subs just went down the drain for nothing.
Checkout Champs or any MRR crm even if it’s your own, isn’t to only rotate MIDs
It’s a layer of integration, so that you can have your subs vaulted.
Then if you lose your MIDs, you don’t lose your subs
Disagree.
You don't need $100 AOV to make money.
Sell something cheap on the frontend like $30 to $50. Easy yes for the customer. Get them in the door.
Then make your real money on the backend. Subscriptions and MRR
Now it doesn't even matter if you break even on that first sale. You already know that rebill is coming next month. And the month after that.
That's why MRR is the play. You're not stressing about making every single sale profitable. You're just stacking customers knowing they keep paying you every month.
High AOV works. But telling people they're dead at $50 AOV is just wrong.
Your AOV needs to be at least €100 in the US market.
If you're sitting at €50, you're dead before you even start.
Let me explain:
CPCs are €1-1.50 right now.
At €50 AOV you need 50 conversions to hit €5K revenue.
You're bleeding €50-75 per conversion just on ad cost. Your margin is gone.
Flip that to €120 AOV. Now you only need 25 conversions.
Same budget, half the volume, way more profit.
How to get there:
Run collection pages, not product pages.
Show multiple products upfront.
Stack discounts everywhere - header, product page, cart (Buy 2: 10%, Buy 3: 15%, Buy 4+: 20%).
Post-purchase upsells. Add €10 AOV instantly with one-click offers.
Combine and save sections on product pages. Let them scroll through 50-70 products without leaving the page.
Higher AOV = you can outbid competitors at the same ROAS and win.
Fix your AOV before you scale another dollar.
