Our mission is to prepare military medics and clinicians for real-world challenges through hands-on, high-fidelity training. EMS HELICOPTER CRASH-TRIPLE LODD
It’s been confirmed that there were 3 fatalities after a medical helicopter crashed this afternoon near the Natchez Trace-just north of Jackson, Mississippi. Two UMMC crew members and a Med-Trans pilot were on board and died in the Line of Duty. There was no patient aboard.

Madison County fire rescue & EMS was called to the helicopter crash around 1230 hours near Mississippi 43 and the Natchez Trace Parkway.

The medical helicopter went down in a wooded area south of the Natchez Trace and North of Pipeline Road. The flight originated at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson and lasted 27 minutes.

Our condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
