Oborevwori 'Chickened Out' from PDP to APC Because I’m a Threat – Omo-Agege

In the 2023 elections that I led, the APC won 2 Senate seats in Delta State out of 3. From those 2, Delta Central Senatorial District where Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori and I are from my party, led by me, won in a head-to-head contest between the governor and me. I defeated the governor by a margin of 15,000 votes. In the only Senate seat contested in Delta Central, I won it for my party by defeating the governor’s candidate with my candidate, Dafinone. As I moved around the state reorganiding for the 2027 elections during this thank-you tour, there was a mass defection of people from the PDP to the APC because they had no faith in Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori. I did not concede defeat to Oborevwori because I won the 2027 governorship election. If Oborevwori were sure I was no threat, he would have stayed in the PDP to face me.

Politics is not for the weak. If Senator Ovie Omo Agege was already a member of NDC as at may 10, why then didn't he Carry Sen. Ned Nwoko along? He continued to give him the hope that Abuja was going to intervene in the issue.

This further supports Gov Sheriff points that Omo Agege was long not a member of APC, But of Omo Agege was registered with NDC before May 10 and still went on to contest APC senatorial primaries as at may 18, wouldn't there be implications of dual membership?

Peter Obi has been a very selfish politician. In 2023, he threw all his supporters in Rivers state under the bus again he has refused to stand up for his supporters in NDC who went for primaries. 'Give me this one, you can collect all those ones'
