Mahmut Sinan Erez, DVM, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at Afyon Kocatepe University in Türkiye.

“The Parasitic Diseases textbook provides a comprehensive and accessible source of knowledge on parasites, their biology, epidemiology, and clinical importance,” he told us. “Although primarily focused on human parasitic diseases, it’s clear explanations and broad perspective are also highly useful for veterinary parasitology education, particularly for helping students understand the relationships between parasites, hosts, and the wider One Health context.”
