My ancestors were Byzantine Orthodox, and we ruled entire mediterranean, but due the fact that we could not liberate Western Europe from Euroasian hordes (Franks, Goths etc..) we were put into stretch between Persian/Egyptians Islam and Barbarians (Catholics)

Of course we decided to side with Islam and we all joined them, almost all Anatolians, and Balkan people as well.
