Exuberant music by Henry Charles Litolff - the Scherzo movement of his 3rd Piano Concerto. Pianist Misha Dichter gives a light-footed performance. https://t.co/DRSAxW2M53 via @YouTube

"He who does not read, at 70 years will have lived only one life, his own! He who reads, will have lived 5000 years: He was there when Cain killed Abel, when Renzo married Lucia, when Leopardi admired infinity... Because "Reading is backward immortality."
Umberto Eco

HOST: Year after Trump said "You don't have cards," Zelenskyy pulled out few very good hands of "cards", possibly even royal flush.

BROWDER: Maybe even trump card.

HOST: I was going to say “trump card,” but was leaving that up to you.

BROWDER: He’s pulled out the trump card.

In Mykolaiv, a Shahed drone with a warhead of about 100 kilograms pierced the roof and floors of a residential building but, by sheer miracle, did not detonate.

This our daily life in Ukraine because our neighbors are genocidal war criminals.

[Joyce Carol Oates @JoyceCarolOates]

gorgeous! as I recall, this is an immense painting.

So sad. #rip Alfred Brendel brilliant pianist, poet, author, composer and lecturer. #music

[Love your Inner Classical Music Geek @LoveInner]

#NowSpinning Neeme Järvi’s Martinů Symphony No.6, Fantaisies symphoniques. And this music really is fantastic, in every sense of the word. This is the composer at his most magical and otherworldly.

[Barenreiter @Baerenreiter]

Johann Sebastian Bach died on this very day in 1750 - his music of course lives on

These volumes of the Neue Bach Ausgabe contain some of the greatest music known to mankind

Long may our love for Bach continue!

[Anthony Princiotti @tonyprinciotti]

A violin owned by Thomas Jefferson. He remained passionately interested in music throughout his life, frequently putting in 3 hours of practice in a day, His music library at Monticello was filled with violin method books and works by Corelli, Vivaldi, Handel and other composers.

The pianist Ingrid Haebler was known for what one critic called “cloudless, untroubled Mozart.” https://t.co/JYuvQDIzuC

[Marc-André Hamelin @MarcAndreHam]

Thank you Sabine - no one told me this was in the works!

[CTV News Vancouver @CTVVancouver]

It's a sure sign of spring. Cherry blossoms are once again in bloom in Vancouver. https://t.co/bxOVi2w0tN

Another sad departure. The pounding beat behind BTO, my little brother Robbie has joined Mum, Dad & brother Gary on the other side. Maybe Jeff Beck needs a drummer! He was an integral cog in our rock 'n' roll machine and we rocked the world together. #RIP #littlebrother #family
