But of course they will listen to you and make recommendations about lifestyle changes or treatments to pursue - the issue is that those treatments are almost impossible to access without $$

Private psychiatry is still covered through OHIP but private psychiatrists can be selective with what referrals they take on for long term support.

@DanGoorevitch @MelissaMar_C @birgitomo I’m not talking about psychiatry. There are many counselling agencies that provide subsidized counselling for people on OW and ODSP. There’s also Wellness Together Canada where anyone with an an OHIP card can receive free 60 min sessions with a registered therapist (up to 10x)
