Spring is here! Our classroom door has a spring feel now :) We discussed the seasonal changes and used our creativity to decorate our door.

Fresh snow! A perfect day for snowshoeing :) Thank you Ms. White, Mrs. Santo and Mrs. Richards for helping us put our snowshoes on. We also had many Grade 1 students helping each other. What a great teamwork!

After listening to the story “Kindness is my Superpower” we discussed what it means to be kind. Then we wrote on sticky notes our ideas about how we can show kindness :)

We are concentrating on creating 3-D shapes using toothpicks and clay. We have to think about the number of faces, edges and vertices for each shape:) We succeeded!

Today we explored painting with marbles and strings. We were amazed how many beautiful designs we created. The final creation is coming home next week :)

We are exploring 2-D shapes and their attributes. We created these beautiful 2-D shapes snowmen. Each of them is unique just like us :) ☃️
