Many people, even those with entrepreneurial experience, are vulnerable to giving up. Stress is high and supportive people who keep them focused on a better future are few and far between.

They have grown up with minimal guidance from people who have succeeded so they will eventually lean towards hating everyone as they see their lives drifting towards failure.

Chances are their lives are not failures. In perspective, living in NZ puts them in a far better placement compared to 95% of everyone on the planet. However, because they are brittle in the mind, comparison being the thief of joy is easily effective to them.

Dont think like this. Learn skills and hang around people doing what you want to do.

You dont have to rule out property if youve made some mistakes. You just need to get a bit more educated, aim to get yourself to break even point as soon as possible then tread far more carefully, ideally under someone more experienced.

Chris Hipkins’ entire “understanding” of small business is one recycled story about watching his dad do invoices at the dinner table.

That’s it. The Casio calculator. The “after a full day’s work.” He’s wheeled it out for years like some emotional cheat code to relate to working class citizens.

Look it up and you'll find the same story posted like 20x since 2023.

But, HE has never run a small business. Not once. Policy adviser, training manager, career politician. That’s the CV. Zero skin in the game.

Meanwhile actual small business owners got smashed by the inflation his government helped drive to 7.3%, then watched the equity in their houses collapse, the same equity a lot of them needed to keep the bank from pulling their loans.
Watching your dad do the books after dinner doesn’t make you an expert. It makes you a spectator.

As a former 1811 who personally processed and delivered hundreds of prisoners into this exact facility, I am raising a precise legal and operational concern regarding the Tate brothers.

They are currently on a USMS hold pending extradition approval/denial in proceedings.

They have not been convicted of any crime in the United States and, most importantly, are U.S. citizens, yet their status is that of extradition detainees.

Over more than three years of proceedings in Romania, the brothers appeared at every required court hearing and judicial proceeding — more than 40 in total — without missing a single one.

They even returned to Romania when summoned after travel restrictions were eased.

That is a clear and documented record of compliance.

Under Wright v. Henkel, 190 U.S. 40 (1903), bail in international extradition cases may be granted upon a showing of special circumstances. A consistent multi-year history of appearing for every required hearing constitutes precisely the type of special circumstance the Court contemplated. I formally request that the court give full and fair consideration to bond.

Further, under Bell v. Wolfish, 441 U.S. 520 (1979), individuals detained pending judicial proceedings cannot be subjected to conditions that amount to punishment. Restrictions must be reasonably related to a legitimate governmental objective. Arbitrary or unnecessarily harsh treatment fails that standard.

As U.S. citizens who have not been charged with any crime in the United States, the Tate brothers should not be subjected to detention-like restrictions based solely on allegations made by a foreign government.

At a minimum, they should be released under reasonable supervision, with appropriate reporting requirements and assurances they will appear for all required U.S. proceedings, meetings, or hearings.

The arrest was allegedly greenlit by a low-level DOJ functionary without leadership approval.

If true, it’s unacceptable. We should never cheer rogue actors inside the DOJ doing the British government’s dirty work.

America First means protecting our own processes, not outsourcing justice to foreign governments.

Andrew and Tristan Tate are US citizens and deserve a fair trial.

I am not advocating whether they are guilty or not. I am not a judge. And I havent seen the evidence.

But neither has any one of you!!!

UK government is throwing countless allegations with “trust me bro” wording and is not releasing any tangible proof of any of it, by hiding behind privacy of the alleged victims!

Someone who is 60-70 years old right now, would do absolutely anything (within reason) to go through the same catastrophic financial/emotional/mental failures that many 30-40 year old are going through right now.

Their take I assume would be:
1. We know life goes on
2. There's often a person you know that can come in and solve your problem at least 90% (grandparents, investor, employer, wife etc)
3. ENERGY. Motivation to find the solution
4. Perspective that things can always be much worse
