I tried to draw in a student who doesn't usually participate. I used dinosaurs. It worked. Well sort of. He was excited to be depicted riding on a dinosaur and to share with his mum. When teacher asked what the learning was, the reply was' don't make learning stink.'
Room 10, a room of 5 and 6 year olds, wanted to find out more about Piwakawaka, as our Year 2 classes are named after them. We worked in small groups and did some research and created these posters to show what we found out. #hillpark_school

We read the book 'The Invisible String by Patrick Karst. In room 5 we know we will always be connected by the invisible string. Today our string was more visible. Lots of fun.#hillpark
