Had an upcoming UAE trip from 19 March with bookings in Palm Jumeirah & Abu Dhabi. Emirates and Marriott were extremely understanding and helped with cancellations given the situation.

But @Cleartrip bookings made via @HDFC_Bank PayZapp refused to cancel without penalty + “convenience” charges. Disappointing how global companies show empathy while some Indian platforms do not care.

I had never imagined the amount of hate a few Indians have for the people of Gujarat!

One said that, Ahmedabad is not a sporting city nor it has a sporting culture.
If Ahmedabad is not a sporting city and does not have sporting culture then, how does 3 players of #TeamIndia come from Ahmedabad?
In Mumbai too, more than 50% of crowd comes from Thane, Virar, Pune, Nashik, Surat and even Ahmedabad..

Another one said, crowd does not stand behind the team when going is rough for the team..In comparison Mumbai and Bangalore crowds are more supportive to team.
I dont know about Bangalore, but in Mumbai only 4 days back, crowd had gone totally quiet when the English players were tonking our bowlers..

The last one complained about price of a glass/bottle of water at the stadium..
Idiot everybody knows that prices of water, bewrages and food are exorbitant in stadiums everywhere in India.
If he found the prices to be very high, he always had an option to sit at home in an Air conditioned room , watched the match sipping unlimited purified water at no cost..

If I take a flight and the baggage limit is 15 kg, if I carry 16 kg then I'll pay only for the extra 1 kg, not for the full 16 kg.

But on Swiggy, I ordered lassi from 7.3 km away. I have a Swiggy One subscription where delivery is free up to 7 km.

Instead of charging for the extra 300 meters, they charged me for the full 7.3 km. Makes no sense.

That raises a serious question if everything runs on external backing, how independent is the defense architecture really?

And if Iran’s missile strategy can still create pressure despite advanced Western systems, does that mean even top-tier technology has its limits? Even US technology failed?

Modern cities, luxury skylines, financial power all of that means little if core defense capability isn’t self-reliant.

सद्दाम को मार दो, मादुरो को उठा लो, अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में घुस जाओ और फिर सब छोड़छाड़ के निकल आओ.. ऐसे अनगिनत उदाहरण हैं। इस दुनिया को बर्बाद करने में अमेरिका ने जितना योगदान दिया है शायद ही किसी और देश ने दिया होगा।
