FDK-111's inquiry-based art of turning swirls into flowers was a huge success! A display will follow shortly!

Practicing colour names while turning swirls into flowers will be our next inquiry-based art lesson inspired by one of our students. This was also the premise of our International Dot Day book "The Dot" where we learned and discussed to accept the abilities of all children.

Today, in library with Mr. Ensor, we read a funny book about what could happen if your mommy came to Kindergarten. Then in computers, we played with coding robots.

FDK-111 has been learning about dots and circles because of International Dot Day. We read a book, counted 1-to-1 bingo chips, "traced" the letter of their first names using bingo dabbers, and learned about Kandinsky's Concentric Circles with art and a poem.

FDK-111 had a BLAST today with Mr. Marfo in gym where they played at 4 different stations working on aiming, throwing and catching!
