@MusicEdu4all Very similar story at my wife's school. So much positive stuff said about music (and much else) by the inspectors in their summing up conversation, and then the report (all outstanding) was so bland and mentioned nothing that helps anyone find out what the school is like.

On Friday, our Y6s enjoyed a local community event- Their designs inspired the new tree art, leaving a lasting legacy. Attending the launch with the artist, community group, and councillor was fantastic. Huge thanks to @FoFirthPark
A real privilege to watch this enormous band, 2/3 of which are current or past students of @BeckSchool. Proving that *long term* commitment by a primary school to music education has massive benefits for kids from all backgrounds. Greatly supported by @SheffMusicHub of course.

@RGCWbaritone @MusicintheRound@elliejanemoran@Ensemble_360 It was a splendid afternoon Roddy. Many thanks for bringing such enthusiasm, energy and all round awesomeness to an old favourite!
Music can be the creative hook in a classroom - the way into trickier concepts for children. Using songs to help you introduce + explore curriculum concepts can invigorate lessons + may provide a ‘light bulb’ moment for children.
