today's gripe: ppl who explain that actually you can burn books, and tear them to bits, stop fetishising them they're not sacred objects etc. it's just... there is a world religion in which they are? you probably haven't heard of us.
@IsagelC All books, written papers, and mostly computers too. we don't keep them on the floor or let anyone's feet touch them, or put them in domestic waste. although I do shred papers when I need to.
like, another major tenet of our religion is that we do not impose our beliefs on others in any circumstances, often honoured only in the breach etc yes. but, we do exist.
We're back! And we had. a truly wild time on this one. For this episode, we watched the Original Series episode ‘Spock's Brain'.

@HareComedy it's on my mind rn because of how much I hate ppl using it for me and how often that seems to happen. "special interest" - well either you're grossly misusing the term or unilaterally deciding I'm autistic, and I don't love either of those options.
@HareComedy I do wonder if the term "special interests" has been forcibly co-opted from its original meaning so it now just gets used for "thing I like a lot", and that can't help with drawing a distinction.
@fairestcat oh, no, they weren't pulling the "talk therapy solves everything' shit, were they. I really hate that. also fascinated by how different our regimes are. drugs work! it turns out.
folks, I'm really not here. singlecrow @ bluesky , https://t.co/pWubF0l1gG (on mastodon), and I'm also on discord and tumblr under that name. happy to have you any of those places, very sorry about this one.
