Singularity and NAWCWD signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to cooperatively develop an advanced solid rocket motor and provide breakthrough range for tactical air defense.

Three months from executing this CRADA, our combined team successfully completed an aggressive static fire campaign proving out this design, and that government and industry can move fast when capability is meant for the warfighter.

PAE Fires selected Singularity as one of 4 finalists for the US Army's IFPC Inc 2 interceptor XTech competition. Singularity will have the opportunity to fly against other entrants in a 2027 demonstration.

We are motivated to bring low-cost air defense systems to the US Army at scale. Thank you to the PAE Fires team for taking the lead on bringing competition and new entrants to rebuild America's air defense arsenal.

Few people have seen the shift in warfare from higher ground than General James McConville, 40th Chief of Staff of the US Army (Ret.). His read: effective air defense already exists, but not at the scale, speed, and cost the threat now demands. Closing that gap is the standard we build against, and the reason he's chosen to stand alongside.

One purpose drives every system we build: protect people.

As Singularity Defense enters its next stage of growth, we are pleased to announce a meaningful expansion of our leadership team with Peter Schumacher joining as our new Chief Operating Officer. Peter comes from AE Industrial Partners, a key Singularity investor, at a moment of tremendous momentum and opportunity.

He is a proven aerospace and defense leader with deep experience scaling innovative hardware companies. Peter started his career at Orbital working on the GQM-163A (a ramjet powered Navy missile target), he moved into jet engine engineering and manufacturing at GE before transitioning to business development and M&A. From there, he helped stand up AE Ventures and has since worked closely with dozens of portfolio companies across aerospace and defense, including leading Firefly Aerospace as its CEO leading up to the first orbital launch and prior to the IPO.

Peter's been an excited and helpful partner to Singularity since the first dollar of AE investment, and we’re thrilled to have him join our team to grow our execution engine as we capture government contracts and save lives.
