I decided to give KwaBaba a chance and finished all 5 episodes in one sitting. 😭 This show is definitely feeding my delusions. I know this kind of things doesn’t exist in real life, but for a few hours, I was fully invested. I can’t live without this telenovela…I love love 🥹❤️

No unnecessary melodrama.
No chasing social media trends list
No over-the-top explicit depiction of themes for shock value.

Some of the actors are truly giving some of their best acting work ever.

Love how measured and intentional this show is.

Bahumi, the character Rorisang plays on the new telenovela #KwaBabaMzansi, is about to win hearts.

Reminds me of Mbali Mavimbela's moment as Hlomu on The Wife.

Former My Brother’s Keeper cast members reunite on Mzansi Magic’s new 19:30 telenovela ‘Kwababa’ produced by Singa Vision the company behind Genesis.

Hlengiwe Lushaba-Madlala, Lindani Nkosi, and Sparky Xulu have joined the new telenovela and will play members of the Mkhize family.

‘Kwababa’ is a story about a young man caught between love, family expectations, and tradition.
