Listen, not everyone's trauma gives them thick skin. Some people's trauma made them more sensitive and insecure, they cry more easily, get overwhelmed at small tings. The narrative that trauma makes you stronger is a lie. There is, power in acknowledging it and growing from it.
My dad was a lawyer until he was 37.
At 37 he came home and said I’m going to be a doctor
He resigned and went back to get undergrad prerequisites, then applied for med school at 38. Didn’t become a doctor until 46.
As I approach 37 I realize how crazy that story actually is
Money is a passing thing. You can struggle to make money if you always tightly holding onto saved money. Saved money hampers with incoming money. Money is not for preservation. What you must rather preserve is your capability to make it. Capitalism won't tell you that.
Any little money I get like this, any little change, na enjoyment. No worry bout my futurrrre. My future no dey go anywhere. I gonna think about my future next year. ❤️
