@worldofdarkness What we wanted was V5 and for the clans to have their unique disciplines back. We wanted Clanbook. City source books. We didn't want this.
You've stripped Vampire of its identity and this is not anywhere near what it sounded like we'd be getting during the panel in LA
So, @dimension20show and @dropout . Specifically Brennan. I am a fan of @worldofdarkness and did watch all 14 episodes of #CityCouncilofDarkness. While I'd love to see a more serious take with better adherence to the mechanics, Ally Beardsley was dead wrong. I loved it.
Hey @PlayStation and Playstation developers. Here's your physical media solution: USB Hardware Keys with on board storage.
You have the game installer on the device storage, the USB device acts as DRM to prevent piracy, you no longer have an upper limit on storage capacity
@worldofdarkness Game preservation is important, and if we pay for something we need to own it. Unless we can download it and access it without an internet connection, it's not the direction you should be heading
@worldofdarkness Given our discussion at Darkness Emergent in LA, I hope there's a downloadable PDF for the inevitable point where D&D Beyond chooses to stop hosting 5.5 content in favor of going all in on a future edition like how the 3.5 and 4E character creator tools have been abandoned
@Flurpr_000@worldofdarkness To attract more D&D players to Vampire. They introduce them to some of the lore while using a system they know in the hopes they like the lore enough to try VtM
@PixelsnPolyg0ns@worldofdarkness Disagree. Kindred are made. In D&D anyone can be turned into a vampire. If you're adding a skills and power template onto a race, the way you do that mechanically is with a class.
A Tortle doesn't suddenly lose its shell because it's a vampire, so a race change doesn't work
@Kotaku Free-to-play being excluded when people are still paying money in the way of microtransactions is still a failure of this legislation.
"Software as a service" needs to end
