Here’s the SAR satellite imagery of the SoH from 6 hours ago.

We’ve got a grand total of 4 vessels moving through the Iranian corridor, and that’s the whole screen. Trump needs to clean this up and resolve the bottleneck ASAP.

Looking at my own tracking with the flow data from Windward and Kpler, keeping oil flows afloat at this current cratered tanker print is a complete pipe dream.

This isn't about running a confirmation bias. The hard data shows the flow is already slumping, and if we don't see normal tanker traffic resume immediately, this taper is only going to get uglier.

Since Iran has now targeted the Sinokor tanker handling the UAE shuttling operations, we can no longer guarantee the same speed for STS executions as before.

Whether Trump plays his usual card—bending the knee to Tehran and striking a TACO—or pulls some other rabbit out of his hat, one thing is clear. Tanker transit needs a hard guarantee if we want to stop this oil flow slump from getting uglier.

Or fuck it, let's just source about 200 absolute lunatic Greek skippers and ram them right through the Hormuz chokehold. Problem solved, Oil $40/bbl!

Straits of Hormuz are international waters. International waterways do not belong to any nation-state. This is a foundational principle in the world today, without which the world would be in total chaos.

If, in fact, we accept that you can charge money to use an international waterway because it happens to be near your territorial space, well then this would spread throughout the world like a contagion.

If, in fact, there is now a strait that one country can, or two countries can, or whatever any countries decide they want to charge money for its use, what is going to stop every country in the world near a waterway from imposing the same?

And then we're going to have chaos. So that is unacceptable.
