These shoes? Damn I go through security with my flipflops or slippers, and a pair of socks in my pocket to put them on inside the plan. Flipflops are far more cheaper and comfortable for traveling.
After you make it through in record time at the airport, you’ll enjoy having these comfortable shoes for the rest of your trip. https://t.co/vewC4N6BRd
@piotikoduaduafj@fiji_force@homeaffairsfj Vinaka. Yes, my first thought was, 👮♀️ can’t afford to react the way they did today. I hope also whoever it was that captured it will not be victimized. That person did the department a favor by pointing out an opportunity for the Police to work on.
@stansimpsonfj Police officers should also learn to restrain from attacking suspects. That video caught the officer stepping over the suspect while he was already on the ground. Regardless of what he was trying to do, they should learn to protect themselves also from being publicly scrutinized.

Also, why an international when you can get someone locally. International expertise means more payout to cover benefits as moving, education, housing, medical etc. Which also includes their families. Their cost alone takes a huge chunk of money meant for specific projects.
So I’m informed @UNDP_Pacific is keeping a close tab on my tweets. So while they are, my question is to @Fiji_MOFA, do you know that international interns are now being converted to UNV contracts and taking on positions meant for locals? What are you waiting for? Next election?
Watch those work permit closely, @Fiji_MOFA Make sure that #Fijian nationals, not diplomacy is your priority when it comes to the livelihood and welfare of Fijian people. Those interns should not be offered UNV contracts while they are interns in the country.

@Fiji_MOFA really needs to monitor this recruitment by @UNDP_Pacific carefully and not allow the people of #Fiji and the #Pacific to lose jobs to outsiders by creating a position that is not in the so-called restructure. https://t.co/QLKKBq7nAg
