@LadyHaywire He needs you in the house. Shame he can’t join you. I had 3 cat & a dog when I had my 2 babies & they all loved my babies, the cats never slept on my babies. My girls grew up loving them
Prince William diagnosing homelessness as “systemic failure”? Adorable.
The man is the system incarnate, born into palaces, privilege, and taxpayer-funded luxury, yet somehow oblivious he’s not critiquing it, he is it.
Peak royal self-awareness.
Well done to all those that have worked so hard to get back fair sport for half the world. Females. Who deserve fair, safe, sex & reality based opportunities in something that today can be a career choice. All women & girls deserve - this not just the elite.
@WriterHannahBT I thought you were brilliant and you needed to be strong & assertive which you are in your own excellent way. Your talent & knowledge was spotted by Jeremy & your part on his farm & in the series was so justified. Ignore the negatives & keep being you 💕🫶
Does anyone know why life saving air ambulances have to rely on funding from charities
But helicopters for the Royal Family are paid for by the tax payer?
@JeremyVineOn5 NO! these will be mainly people working on a lower wage, paying their taxes & NI. Families with young children, a mixture of people. Easy for him to rant & point fingers from his huge house(s) seems he has finances he needs to explain. This the man who lied to get Brexit through.
The men were unhappy that the grass condition may be ruined by women playing ahead of them & those arriving early wouldn’t have practice court(s) YET playing at Wimbledon there’s no complaints about heavily used courts in all weathers. Misogyny!!!

@Jassmini2 It’s rather a lot, not sure how I’d feel if it was my street but it will wash away. We used to draw on pavement with chalks & play hop scotch. We know it will rain.
@JeremyVineOn5 Keep up the demonstrations, they need to know that not everyone is happy having a “Royal” family. Aloof & spoiled. Time for change. Why wave & cheer at these people? It’s time for change
@LadyHaywire Such a shame he can’t be with you, he’s used to you, I had 3 cats & a dog when I had my babies and everything was fine, they loved my girls & my girls loved them too
@mari_2527 There’s many ordinary people aghast by their privilege & absolute wealth taken from the people they are meant to represent who don’t actively demonstrate. Wealth & privilege & power inherited & protected.
No one wants to harm Parkrun @parkrunUK it is a fabulous event. I’m spent my life trying to get people more active. That will carry on. My point is a simply one of fairness & equality. 28 women’s records are held by men, over 200 1st places in the women’s category have gone to men. More every weekend. It’s demoralising for those women wanting those places & records. This only goes one way. Women just want their own course records & places based on the reality of biological sex, which matters in physical activity. There are ways that extra categories can be added. So records & places remain, which is what the vast majority want to happen, which proves there is a competitive element to Parkrun as it stands. Hence a 30k petition to bring them back. Everyone runs together dresses as makes them happy. Non of that changes but simply enable a fair female category for females please?
A group of us went out to celebrate a friend’s 25th birthday. There were eight people at the table.
Before we ordered, I made my situation clear.
I said, “I’m trying to save for a house down payment right now, so I’m only getting an appetizer and a soda. Can we do separate checks?”
A few people laughed, and the birthday girl said, “Don’t worry about it. We’ll just split the bill evenly at the end.”
I wasn’t thrilled about the idea, but I didn’t want to start an argument before dinner.
As the night went on, several people ordered expensive steaks, cocktails, and desserts. The birthday girl and her boyfriend also ordered two bottles of wine that cost more than what I planned to spend all week.
Meanwhile, I stuck to exactly what I said I would order: one appetizer and a soda.
When the bill arrived, it came to around $900.
Someone quickly did the math and announced, “Looks like it’s about $112 per person.”
I looked at the receipt and said, “That doesn’t work for me. My food was about $22. I’ll pay for what I ordered, plus tip.”
The birthday girl got upset and said I was being cheap and making things awkward.
I didn’t argue.
I got up, walked over to the manager, asked for my individual items, paid my portion with a tip, wished everyone a good night, and left.
Later, my phone was full of messages. Apparently, everyone else had to cover the difference, and some people were angry that the final amount per person ended up being higher than expected.
A few friends said I should have just paid the extra money to keep the peace.
Maybe.
But I don't think it's reasonable to expect someone who ordered the least at the table to help fund everyone else's expensive choices.
I went out for dinner, not to subsidize someone else's luxury bill.
@TheLaurences_ The only Royal I sort of like. She looked lovely & good on her if she wore a much loved dress & added different accessories. Can’t win, recycling by Princess Anne should be applauded Unlike her big brother, sister in law & nephews
