Now I'm really starting to feel like Luca is cursed or influenced by his past life. Leo might as well be a part of prince's consciousness which judges unconventional way too quickly and is reckless with words. But that would be crazy
The way Lara and Mari's behavior resembles each other while Luca is doing the opposite on these two covers, I did think about the old one and that it's weird, but the new cover really just confirms that it's no coincidence. What can this possibly mean?
#さよならララ
I don't believe she will die, it will annihilate the idea of second chances.
Will they go for the third chance?
"We're born three times. First to exist, second to live and the third to love"
...Nah, that would be in the literal future which is hard to picture as a good choice
Insane Goodbye lara thoughts continued:
Why did they use Prince's bride as a reference for Mari? With the fact that he has none in Goodbye Lara. Is it now more about the fact that she's a legitimate princess?
..Or is it that Lara will leave both of them as in the story?

Story takes from the original tale A LOT.
The fact that in the original there's THREE important figures: a mermaid princess (Lara), prince ("Luka") and his bride, ANOTHER princess who is associated with the church and truth. Why did the choose all three of them for the story?
I feel like this and ep 8 could possibly mean that Mari started to "share her soul" (be it fantasy or reality of inevitably being influenced by your important person) with Lara. All of their thoughts in this ep were of each other. Fun fact, Mari's grandmother is a priest.

While Lara and Mari smile and look at the camera, his mouth is down turned and his eyes are not on the camera. And while they're happy and reach their hands forward, he looks startled and tries to protect himself. It really says something

Watched ep 8 of goodbye lara 3 hours ago, I feel so happy that I'm almost empty because I got everything that I longed for all at once but I still need to wake up 5 hours from now on for a 12-hours long internship. Fuck.
but now they are sharing more things about each other; their goals, a future together, and even dialect
it can go unnoticed but it is there and it is creating more relaxing tension/ teasing between them. in other words, they are getting closer!!!! im super excited
mari first says “yer better mean it” and then the second time she repeats/rephrases it again instead saying along the lines of “you have to promise me”
throughout the show i felt like they were their own characters living in their own worlds, not intruding with each other
not only that, they are understanding each other’s goals such as making to be a pro wrestler and baking
it goes both ways too. mari spoke in standard japanese which is fine but i think it has meaning by how intentional it occurred right after lara spoke in kansai dialect
in other words, lara mixed up standard japanese with the kansai
it could symbolize a lot of things but the first thing that came to mind was how the two girls communicated, they always spoke in their own dialects. now they are speaking each other’s dialect, at least trying to
the actual translation is something along the lines of “are yer for real?” (honma ka na?)
and lara repeats it. “im fer real” (honma yo) because she is trying to tease mari by copying her dialect but she actually says it wrong. it should be “honma ya” instead
