The moments before BTS took their historic stage in Gwanghwamun Square.
The live performance BTS The Comeback LIVE | ARIRANG and documentary film BTS: The Return are both now playing, only on Netflix.
I don’t think there’s ever a “right” way to explain what yesterday meant… not when it’s something you’ve been waiting for this long.
For so many of us, it wasn’t just a comeback stage. It was the moment we finally saw Jimin's return to the place that has always felt like his home. Four years of waiting, holding onto memories, replaying old stages, and then suddenly… he’s there again, right in front of us, shining the way he always has.
Every track, every shift in his voice, every tone he carried felt like a thread connecting all the versions of him we’ve witnessed over the years. It wasn’t just about hearing him sing, it was recognizing him in every note, and realizing how much he’s grown while we were all walking alongside him.
And somehow, this Jimin feels both completely new and deeply familiar at the same time. Like he never left, but also like he’s come back with something even more of himself.
It feels like watching a butterfly emerge after a long, quiet season. Not rushed, not forced, just unfolding when it’s ready. Still the same being at its core, but now carrying colors, strength, and presence that could only come from everything it’s been through.
And when he stands on that stage, smiling, moving, singing like that… you realize this is exactly where he belongs. And maybe, in some way, where we belong too, watching him. I love Park Jimin....maybe a little too much
