I hate to do this, but I am really not doing okay. the stress has been building up for months and i'm at a point where getting my life back together seems near impossible after life circumstances and my health have held me back for years now https://t.co/AA9hq8nD05
In general, I’m not a fan of live-actionizing animated stories. It *can* be done well — with a bold creative team, a healthy budget, and a new conceptual take on the material, but usually it just ends up highlighting how expressive animation is.
Games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Final Fantasy XIV are perfect examples of what happens when game directors trust their composers fully.
Both soundtracks take big risks and weird turns, and that's why they're so great and beloved by the gaming community.
Trust your composers!
