I don't know who is giving the President advice on what to do vis-a-vis Iran. I've heard Witkoff. I've heard the Pakistanis. I've heard Oman. I've heard the Qataris. The Saudis. God knows there's plenty bleating on and on about the Israelis. For all I know the President isn't listening to anyone, or taking anyone's advice. Perhaps the issue is the Central Intelligence Agency's Presidential Daily Briefs are skewed to tell him what they think he wants to hear. Again, just like they did with President Johnson. But one thing is clear: bad choices that impact America's deterrence, national security and the world economy are being made.

I hope the situation changes for the better, because its untenable as it is.

Here's one of the many segments CBS News put out before the 2020 election in which they claimed that Hunter Biden's laptop was a Russian disinformation campaign.

Did they ever apologize for misleading people? Of course not. They did though admit after the election that the laptop was most likely authentic.

CBS News also heavily spread the "Russian bounties" hoax before the 2020 election, only to report after the election that rumors of Russia putting bounties on our soldiers in Afghanistan may have been untrue.

When the left cries that Bari Weiss is "destroying" CBS News, what they really mean is that she is messing with what used to be a functional arm of the DNC.
