@ThePOTSPostman Saw a neurologist recently who commented that it must be really hard not to just assume everything is long covid and to perservere to check things put properly with a doctor. Was nice for that little struggle to be recognised.
@IKEAUK Be warned, apparently relying on the sticker label on the product, for an item in a pile labelled the same way and all stickered in the same way was my fault. Really poor customer service and no resolution offered other than return at my time and expense
@clarejdaly I hesitate to suggest other ideas, but I've recently seen a kinesiologist and it has been a really good way for me of trying to work out which supplements may help. Can't explain how it works, but I've added several to my list in last few months and seeing some improvements
@ThePOTSPostman I take ivabradine, nattokinase, serrapeptase, NAC, CoQ10 (1200 units a day), vit D, quercetin, spirulina, zinc/copper and fosadophilus, use visible for heart rate pacing and do restorative yoga. Regular cranial osteopathy amd acupuncure. Previously did triple therapy.
@drclairetaylor Is this something like a functional b12 deficiency? B12 shows fine on regular bloods but recently homocysteine levels checked which suggested a different problem, not sure what it means, waiting for a re test to check
@MECFSLongCov I did a free genetic test with sano genetics for a long covid study, not sure if it's still running, was at least a year ago. I got a big report back, but don't remember whether it covered mitochondrial problems. Was some commentary, but nothing I was able to practically use
@pamelarbishop Almost all my symptoms are left side only, that's where I get swelling around my eye and permanent headache, all the tingling and numbness in left hand and foot, pain in left ribs/chest (cardiac checks all clear) and other random stuff. I'm right handed though.
@I_need_a_razor I carried on improving after reinfection, secretly hoped that my immune system had managed to clear out some virus hanging around from first time along with the new lot while it was ramped up for a new infection. No way of telling sadly
@1goodtern Not just the kids that are harmed, teachers and staff damaged by covid as well - does this affect how well they are, or are not supporting kids as well?
