The 6th General Assembly of the Heritage Network was held in Spain on June 23 (1st and 2nd) where Prof. Avinash Sonawane, Dean of IR #IITIndore, got elected as one of the Steering and Executive Committee members of Heritage Network for a duration of 4 years.

Glimpses of the delegation from IIT Indore led by Prof. Suhas Joshi, Director IIT Indore on an academic visit to Taiwan. They visited the Ministry of Education, NTU, NYCU, NTUT, Hsinchu Science Park and Biomedical Science Park, PSMC, NTHU, TSMC and National Ilan University.

IIT Indore hosted the first Group Monitoring Workshop of SERB Start-up Research Grant - Life Sciences (SRG-LS) from 4th to 5th July 2022. Prof. Suhas S. Joshi, Director, IIT Indore delivered the inaugural address and welcomed all the dignitaries and Principal Investigators.

Prof. Suhas S Joshi briefed about the course planned for start-up & said “The Institute has 75 technologies that have emerged from the research of Professors & students. We have documented them & made a brochure of these technologies and one is up for commercialisation.

In the workshop, SERB evaluated the progress of 85 projects in Life Sciences submitted under the Start-up Research Grant (SRG) program. This program enables researchers working in areas of science & engineering to establish themselves & move on to mainstream core research grant.
