2023 - during my Microsoft high school internship, I had a HP laptop with bad hinges. I'd have to find an object to lean it against so it could stay upright.
I had accumulated an interesting amount of working experience and also took up a part time transcription job for a Nigerian OTT.
I also got into uni that same year.
2024 - I saved up, with help from my brother and a helper, and bought a HP elitebook 8460p from my friend because I needed an upgrade.
It was a brick of a laptop and I started developing severe back and shoulder pain from carrying it around.
I won about 4/5 hackathons with that laptop from 2024-2025.
June 2025 - from my wins, I bought a Dell latitude 7480. A breath of fresh air and finally, my back could rest.
I didn't want to end there so I raised my grind to the power of 50 and kept participating in hackathons and doing what I do best; innovating.
January 2026 - I bought a MacBook M4 Air from a major win.
Grindโดโฐโฐโฐโฐโฐโฐ because I'm definitely not where I want to be but I've come a long way.
Putting this here so you remember that it can sometimes take years to get that breath of fresh air.
Life may not deal you with the best of cards but you'd need to do everything you can with the ones you're given.๐ฆ

Over the past few months, Iโve been building Quran Finder, and hereโs what it allows you to do:
1. Shazam Quran recitations to identify the reciter and the exact verse being recited.
2. Listen to Quran recitations from our library of reciters.
3. Read the Mushaf copy of the Quran.
We built this with love, and weโd love for you to try it out.
