Chosen by a panel of legendary Texas football leaders, Coach Rankin is one of just 50 coaches across the state recognized for excellence in player development, leadership, and community impact. His dedication to shaping Longview High School student-athletes both on and off the field makes him a true difference-maker for our program and our community.

The Texas 50 is a new statewide initiative designed to elevate the role of assistant coaches and connect top talent across Texas. In addition to recognition, honorees will participate in a virtual Master Class Series in April and attend a capstone event on June 17 in Waco.
