nice! I kind of feel the same about learning too. If I try to learn coding I have to always face myself being terrible at it. And if I learn history I have to face myself not knowing if it was Edward the III and or the IV and going back to see who it was.
@AnthonyCastrio hmm I feel they both require curiosity, drive to experiment, openness to being surprised -- but what things would you say are different between learning an motivation?
@AnthonyCastrio I would make the claim that research is still learning (just learning something nobody has learned before) -- what do you think of this framing?
