First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi for speaking up on the crisis in Manipur. 

In his distinguished career, General Dwivedi, one of the most powerful men of our country, is reported to have served as Sector Commander of the 26th Sector in Pallel, Manipur, and later as Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East).

In his brief but informative interview on the situation in Manipur, General Dwivedi addressed several important points related to the crisis. As a concerned Indian citizen and a Manipuri, I am exercising my democratic rights by sharing my views on what General Dwivedi expressed.

Refugees from #Myanmar have illegally settled in #Manipur, leading to the rise of thousands of #Kuki villages. These refugees are exploited by #Kukimilitants for poppy cultivation and deforestation, turning our state into a wasteland and hotspot for drug abuse. This has led to a rise in drug addiction among the youth, a long-standing problem.

CM @NBirenSingh’s government has taken significant steps, including screening and biometric tracking for refugees and cracking down on poppy cultivation. Despite these efforts, some criticize the government for political reasons, which is both surprising and suspicious. This raises the question: "Are you part of the agenda to destroy Manipur?"
