With Quattro, high revving, built for grip, just you and the engine with the wheel in your left hand and manual on your right.
0–100 km/h in around 4.8 seconds.
Back then, 400 hp meant business, today that number is what you usually find in smaller 6 cylinders.
A high-revving V8 in a compact saloon though, makes this the only generation with a manual and a V8 in the RS model.
Compared to a modern S5 maybe with similar power that accelerates better, this feels less refined and more alive.
No modern Audi doesn't feel as good as a B7 RS4, 400 hp was already achieved in the hybrids today.
