@JeffWhitmire1 I went to high school '94-'98 in rural Michigan. Most gay kids I knew didn't come out of the closet until they were 30. It was dangerous to be gay then, let alone trans. A "boy in a dress" would've been beaten with approval of the adults and teachers.
