KENYA IS LEADING THE WORLD IN AI ADOPTION

According to the Digital 2026 Mid Year Global Update Report, Kenya ranks #1 globally in AI usage.

The numbers are wild:

🇰🇪 Kenya: 97.5%
🇦🇪 UAE: 94.2%
🇮🇩 Indonesia: 93.6%
🇪🇬 Egypt: 93.4%

And this isn’t just people playing around with ChatGPT.

AI is being used by learners, employees, entrepreneurs and companies to work faster, automate tasks and improve productivity.

Businesses are already using AI for things like customer support, credit scoring, fraud detection and workflow automation.

Look at Safaricom. AI is being used across its platforms, including M-Pesa customer care and financial fraud detection.

And Africa isn’t sitting this one out.

🇳🇬 Nigeria: 89.4%

But Kenya is sitting at the top.

We’re not just consuming AI. We’re adopting it at a global scale.

The bigger question now isn’t whether AI is coming to Kenya.
