We may all be excited seeing all Govt internal memos flying all over the internet. Some of us may even applaud it as whistleblowing. But something in me is ambivalent about this. I want us also to acknowledge that there is danger in this wave of publication of Govt documents online by any party. Is this not a serious breach of Civil Service rules and can some of these breaches not even translate to contravention of the Official Secrets Act?
In Nigeria, we take everything as transactional. It is all a firefighting approach to us. Make a lot of noise, charge offender to court and then let it die down and no recompense. How then will our laws ever be taken seriously. We keep eroding law and order daily by not taking enforcement seriously.
A situation in which Govt Documents drop into SM at the drop of a pin is scary. A Civil Servant that cannot keep secrets of Govt surely is an aberration (@Temitope_AA). We can't continue to weaken our institutions this way. There is a way these info can legitimately get into the public-FOI Act or Petition to EFCC or Police or a response to an allegation or a lawyer's letter.

@mobilemagzter Your free 30days isn’t free! You take the payment immediately. That’s not fair! Even when you boldly claim that I will not be charged within the first 30days!

Americans do not like the Chinese, but they respect the Chinese.
Americans do not like Nigerians - and they also do not respect Nigerians.
You can't get people to "like" you, but at least get them to respect you.
@simonsinek Hello Simon,
A pleasant day to you. Firstly, I thoroughly enjoyed your new book. I also reached out to your team and had a chat with Sharin on bringing you over to Nigeria for a 2day workshop in June..Pleasssseeee
