Trumpets are too biased to evaluate topics objectively due to being too ideologically invested (and DUMB).
During the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago in 2022, agents photographed documents recovered during the search. Some photos included colored βclassifiedβ cover sheets placed over or between seized materials. Those cover sheets were not necessarily found exactly that way in the boxes. They were often added by investigators during evidence processing to:
- separate classified materials
- protect sensitive information
- label classification levels
- document handling procedures
That is standard evidence-handling practice and was explained in court filings and DOJ procedures.
The misleading leap in the post - Charlie Kirkβs post implies that βThe FBI added cover sheets, therefore the entire image was staged and misleading.β
That does not logically follow.
The important issue was whether classified documents were recovered β not whether the colored separator sheets were originally sitting in the boxes.
The government never claimed:
- every cover sheet in the photo was originally inside the box exactly as photographed
- the image was a candid untouched snapshot of discovery conditions
The filing discussions were about evidentiary organization and whether some placeholder sheets corresponded perfectly to specific documents after later processing/review. That is very different from βthey fabricated evidence.β
The βtop secret cover sheets didnβt matchβ claim... This comes from arguments made by Trumpβs legal team regarding document sequencing and classification markers during later inventory review.
But even if some cover sheets were not paired to the exact document later identified:
- that does not mean classified documents were absent
- does not mean evidence was planted
- does not invalidate the seizure.
Investigators handle, sort, scan, and catalog evidence after collection. Cover sheets can be inserted during that process.
The claim intentionally blurs:
βthe photo presentation wasnβt raw untouched discovery,β with βthe FBI fabricated evidence.β
Those are completely different claims.
