@davidbalinda4@FredNshemereirw Please enlighten us, those without knowledge of how the military works, how the civilian kid here is now a full general and cdf. Just curious.
@kyakundwa@cobbo3@AnitahAmong@NRMOnline Like dictators, each always thinks they are wiser than the fallen one, so we wait for another fanatic crook to rise soon. They never learn!
This right here is the biggest problem of #Africa, a breed of intellectual sycophants. A lot so hypocritical and selfish ever so ready and willing to defend every kind of tyranny so long as their tummies are full or to remain close to power.
Claiming that he deleted after discovering wrong intelligence, and yet its his known pattern (tweet and delete later) is a lame attempt at sanitising the CDF’s actions.
Is @AndrewMwenda implying that the hundreds of other deleted tweets were also based on wrong intelligence?

@SenateForeign The constant threats of sanctions against our CDF, @mkainerugaba, by the office of the chairman of our the foreign relations committee of the senate of the United States have become increasingly nauseating. They seem driven by a deliberate and sustained desire to find some fault and get even with Gen Muhoozi.
The CDF tweeted, based on available intelligence, that the US embassy in Kampala was involved with the opposition helping Bobi Wine escape. When corrected, and after talking to the USA ambassador, he deleted the tweets and apologized for the mistake. Yet the office of the chairman of the foreign relations committee of the USA senate, whose account is managed by a one JT (apparently an anti Uganda and anti MK staffer to the senator) then issued fresh tweet threatening sanctions.
First the CDF doesn’t mind USA sanctions. The USA has sanctioned Nelson Mandela, bugged Martin Luther King Jr, killed Patrice Lumumba, overthrown Kwame Nkrumah and much worse. Progressive Africa does not expect any gifts from Washington. What is nauseating is this constant use of threats as if we are children supposed to be managed by some white overload as was in the colonial period.
Uganda’s internal politics need to be left to Ugandans. Through our constant disagreements, political struggles, negotiations and compromises, we shall find our way. The involvement of foreign actors undermines this internal play for political forces and turns our country into a playground for foreign interests.
Dear senator, your country is on the verge of civil war. Can you please focus your attention on its internal problems and leave Uganda alone?
They are always quick to call out the “colonialists” when they call out their masters’ gross human rights abuses, reminding them to stay away from internal matters. And yet these “snoopers” fund more than 80% of their health budget, trained the CDF himself and funded his army.
Guys, it is obvious that this latest twist to the Ntungamo Coffee Scam is another con act to funnel public funds out of the Treasury for personal gain at the expense of the Ugandan taxpayer. But there is a hidden & cynical ploy. To DIVERT debate & move it swiftly away from;
- Election Failures
- Brutal Violence
- Ballot Stuffing
- Vote Buying
- Political Detentions
- Fugitive Dissenters
- Failing Public Companies
- Corruption & Wastage
- Greedy Religious Leaders
- Policy Missteps
- Political Transition
- Reputation Damage
- An Uncertain Future
The @EUinUG performing its usual ritual.
“and call on all parties to exercise restraint…”
Which parties? There is only one party abducting, torturing, murdering, and then gloating over it on social media!
Another one is here.
The entire state infrastructure was deployed to rig, brutalise, murder pple in broad day light, and announce fabricated results, but somehow someone will find a way to blame the opposition. 🗑️

And this is where the incumbent NRM under @KagutaMuseveni still outperforms the opposition: not in popularity, but in organisation and infrastructure. Decades of grassroots machinery and clearer mobilisation chains mean its message is familiar, even to dissatisfied voters.
Statistical impossibilities: Museveni scored 100% at 348 polling stations. At all these polling stations, no one in the area died, no one has migrated, none was sick nor did a single person forego voting for any conceivable reason https://t.co/pVUfSKa5dG #UGElections2021
The problem with coming up to fight bad governance in Uganda is that many people will look at it as your exclusive responsibility to do so. They’ll then sit aside and start theoretically analysing and criticising your efforts - what you are doing right or not. While they are affected by the same problems you are fighting, it is not their primary duty to do anything about the problems beyond playing like linesmen and disinterested scholars. Even under harsh political environments, they’ll call you weak and mock you for being beaten by a system you should be joining hands to face. That is how even those who try end up quietly withdrawing.
My attitude is to respect, support and encourage those who try to do what I can’t do but that I find necessary to be done. Let everyone add what they can, not just feeling entitled to being saved by another perfect person.
Please wait for ‘insightful’ monologues from our ‘intellectuals’ from @GrabACoffeePod, @SemweyaMusoke’s Capital Gang, #BadNativePodcast. They are going to talk about the brilliance of @NRMOnline campaign and the incompetence of @NUP_Ug in the ‘free and fair’ elections organization by ‘independent’ EC. They are going to analyze the gains of NRM in Buganda and ‘Bill Ackman’ is going to come shout about outrage merchants who ‘didn’t get out to vote’ in this ‘peaceful’ election. Our @cbsfm_ug colleagues will put it down to fighting ‘abebitibwa.’ All in all be ready for some world class gaslighting.
And in a few days, months, years, the resident “analysts” will be quoting these figures; arriving at all kinds of deductions, blaming the opposition not doing whatever. All while having some kind of amnesia abt how they were manufactured.
#UgandaDecides2026
On the night of the voting day, armed regime security actors invaded my premises in Butambala and fired live bullets inside my home leaving many of my agents dead.
Out of panic they carried some bodies from the scene to justify their rhetoric. #FreeUgandaNow
@FredNshemereirw N(onsense! May be if your benefactors hadn’t blocked the internet and denied access to anyone trying to reach @HEBobiwine, there wld be no confusion right now.
And even better, why did it take them 24 hrs to come out and deny when they are camped in his compound!
