It is troubling to see @farzanaalispark being let go from Aaj News. Had honour of being on a panel with her in Aug and it was incredible to know that she was first bureau chief in Peshawar. She has given two-decades to journalism, it's shameful that Aaj would treat her like this.
Talal Chaudhry taking issue with Imaan Mazari eating KFC but not with Maryam Nawaz’s Rs9 billion private jet tells you everything that’s wrong with PML-N.
A death row appeal just moved for the first time in years.
The Lahore High Court held its first real hearing on Junaid Hafeez's blasphemy appeal since it was transferred from Multan, and judges are now asking prosecutors to explain the social media evidence behind his 2019 death sentence, including the difference between the Facebook page and group tied to the case. His lawyer says the appeal has finally been admitted for hearing, with the next date still to be fixed.
@LegalPolitical@muneerbajwaa
My latest for @NuktaPakistan
“His prison conditions are in violation of Pakistan’s own prison rules… Such bleak existence would break even the strongest of us, but incredibly, Hafeez still remains hopeful.”
My hope joins his, and today we hope justice is served.

Advocate Saif ul Malook will argue Junaid Hafeez’s appeal before the Lahore High Court (LHC) today.
The strategy of the opposing side is to somehow employ delaying tactics and secure yet another hearing date, as has been happening since 2019.
Let’s see who prevails today: justice or the extremists?
Bail granted to @ImaanZHazir and @AdvHadiali by Supreme Court after 9 months of incarceration resulting from a sham trial. Salute to their bravery and resolve.
