@mountain_rats At present under OROP, pension of Brig. to Lt Gen is 116550, that of Col. is 115700 and Lt. Col. is 114125+DA with 33 years of service. The pension of Secretary is 112500 i.e. below that of Lt. Col. Please calculate what NFU would give extra?

Pray, what's wrong with the quality of new officers? Is the quality of officers better in civil services? Clarify.

@Gurvind92034100 @Warrior_Mukul This NFU is for the officers. There is no issue for other ranks. The NFU for CAPMF stands heavily diluted what with a Parliamentary nod, the deputation of IPS to CAPMF stays. In case of army officers, no NFU at all.

@Warrior_Mukul Shri Vivek Rae and Dr. Rathin Roy, Members, Seventh CPC are of the considered view that NFU till SAG and HAG level, granted to Organised Group ‘A’ Services, should be withdrawn. They have also not
supported extension of NFU to Defence Forces and CAPFs, including ICG.
