However, only $170M was loaned at 5.6% interest. Labor, materials, &construction were provided by China.
Reports also suggest a demand for an island in return.

I call on the Government of Maldives to issue an official and public apology to H.E. PM Modi and the brotherly people of India during this state visit.

While in opposition, they crossed every line mocking, bullying and spreading hatred against PM Modi, Indian culture and the people of India. This is a reminder of how far things were taken and how dirty it was.

The India Out campaign was one of the biggest scams entirely on lies to win the election. Even after coming to power, India was labeled as the biggest bully until they finally realized the truth.
