If we follow the idea of Grass type starters being based in extinct or high-risk of extintion species I do think that Browt evolution line will be based in the Aepyornis elefant bird (endemic to Madagascar). Moreover, their description is focused on them running and not flying

@moku_herald Ah, alright, I understand. I never follow leaks so I am not aware of this information. It is interesting because I feel that, precisely, the first island of Alola is the one that portrays more accurately a context where you could introduce those elements.

@moku_herald Exactly! I liked Rika and Nemona a lot because they handled perfectly how to portray extrovert Spanish personalities adapting it to Japanese contexts and similar phenomena happening in other localizations. They used Japanese accent while still referencing the local culture subtly

@moku_herald But, really, after Alola, Galar and Paldea are we still thinking the starters evos will be based in Japanese culture? They like to reference the base culture, not forgetting about it

@moku_herald Exactly. After 10 generations so far we should have already noticed that they like to mix cultures and bring them closer to the Japanese spectrum while keeping the original flavour. They won't be japanese traditional jobs (in case it happens), but they may look a bit similar.
