I have no problem at all with Western people celebrating Halloween, Christmas, or Valentine’s Day. That’s their culture, and every culture deserves to survive and thrive. What’s honestly embarrassing is watching a certain type of Indian try to cosplay someone else’s culture while quietly being ashamed of their own. You see the same people every time. Halloween costumes for Instagram, Christmas décor for aesthetics, Valentine’s Day reels for validation. No belief, no understanding, just vibes. At the same time, their own mother tongue is treated like an inconvenience. Telugu at home suddenly feels “regressive”, while barely functional English, picked up from other equally broken speakers, is worn like a badge of intelligence. Then come the kids, given trend-based names ending in “-wik” or “-ansh”, chosen not for meaning or heritage but because that year’s algorithm seemed to approve it. Festivals without depth, names without roots, language without fluency. This isn’t global thinking or openness. It’s insecurity with a Wi-Fi connection. Confident cultures add to themselves. Insecure people erase themselves and call it being modern.

A child should enjoy childhood if he like when he is old enough will eventually become good at this doesnt ahve to be tarined since childhood and its better to leave him alone away from spotlight.

@PeterSweden7 Because this news is still very minor globally, I don't think anyone is surprised by it. Everyone saw where Sweden was heading. I guess this could be a sample of what is to come in the future. News like this will likely be normal in a decade or so.

There are nicer parts of India as well. You are showing the nicer cities of China, but if you visit smaller cities, towns, and villages, they look much worse. Obviously, China cares a lot about making things look good. One must be happy to be born in India compared to China.

China is often a lie that people like you fall for. Besides that shiny facade, it is very ugly.
