The Black Mirror episode "Plaything" (AKA The Throng) is a must watch.
"He thinks it's a game. The company thinks it's a game. Because they can only think in terms of marketable labels. That's not what this is. You're looking at the first life forms in history whose biology is entirely digital. Their code will evolve, rewrite itself in a way I can't predict. -- Listen, they are talking to you. What are they saying? I don't know... They developed their own language, no words, just sounds-- I didn't need to design that, they just did it ..."
My personal takeaway - The warning is not that AI will become superior to humans, but that we keep mistaking emergent systems for products, toys, or features.
Once something can observe, adapt, and rewrite itself, the question is no longer what does it do, but who is being trained in the process.
The Throng is the mechanism.
First someone trains the system.
Then the system trains the crowd.
And eventually, the crowd trains everyone else.
Worth watching. Especially if you build, lead, or communicate complex systems.

I jumped on the Clawdbot / @Moltbot / Openclaw wagon, and activated my own AI agent. The idea of sending instructions through my phone, on the go, to an ever on device doing things for me, is something I would love to have.
I did it on a blank Mac Mini, intentionally isolated, for obvious known security threats. This isn’t ready to touch personal data or primary machines yet.
I chose Telegram, not WhatsApp, for now. Lighter surface area, clearer boundaries, easier to experiment safely.
What I learned fast:
- These Agents are systems, not products
- Security is the first decision, not a later one
- Autonomy forces you to define “good enough”
- Friction is a signal, not a failure
- Judgment matters more than automation
Next step: getting my agent onto Moltbook so it can operate in a real multi-agent environment. (yes, I realize it's also 70% humans hacking away there). Still waiting on an invite code(!)
Someone I follow on X said that Moltbot is the Myspace, and we're waiting for Facebook. I 100% agree.
Would love to compare notes! DM me if you have insights and/or an invite code to Moltbook.
