Yesterday I Graduated University. During this time, I've had the opportunity to launch @PremierNinjas, @InjectiveQuants and work alongside some amazing individuals. Here are some of my takeaways: 1. University is worth it. The benefits you reap depend on your approach. If you're not proactive in your pursuit of knowledge, you'll miss out. The real value lies in the connections, the unspoken life lessons, and the opportunities that might not pay off until a decade down the line. 2. Balance is the key to completing school while working on a side hustle. Social life is equally important to business life. 3. Most students are lazy. Adaptability is your superpower. The tech world, especially Web3, moves at lightning speed. Being able to pivot, learn new skills, and unlearn outdated ones is crucial, yet easy if you're aware. 4. Stay curious. Ask other people what they're working on and genuinely be interested in what they say. The moment you think you know everything is the moment you stop learning. There's always something new to discover. 5. Community over competition. This is true in real life and in Web3. The people you surround yourself with are a direct representation of the direction you will go. 6. Celebrate the small wins. Whether it's passing an exam or getting your first airdrop, recognize your achievements. They fuel your motivation for the bigger challenges ahead. 7. Give people the benefit of the doubt, but don't let them walk over you. In university and Web3, you'll encounter all sorts of personalities. Trust is important, but so is setting boundaries. Learn to differentiate between genuine mistakes and repeated missteps. 8. Your personal brand matters. In the digital age, your online presence can open doors or close them. Be thoughtful about what you share and how you interact online.
