Oh, and HDR is High Dynamic Range, comes from photography meaning more detail in shadows and highlights.

Hey @y108Rocks Shawna is right about the TV's! The motion settings come from the early days of HD TV's. Lower end TV's have it as well, but can't turn it off. Higher end ones can. Comes from the motion effect NOT suiting all broadcasts. Used to create motion trails in sports.
