In a case prosecutors are calling "evil personified," a 40-year-old woman and her husband face first-degree murder charges for allegedly stabbing her pregnant biological daughter to death and performing a gruesome extraction of the unborn child in a secluded Michigan forest. The chilling allegations, revealed in a Wexford County courtroom on December 2, 2025, have left a tight-knit rural community reeling and sparked an outpouring of grief for the 22-year-old victim.
Cortney Bartholomew and her husband, Brad Bartholomew, 47, were arraigned Tuesday on multiple felony counts, including open murder, torture, and mutilation of a corpse, in connection with the death of Rebecca Park. The couple, who appeared via video from jail, were denied bond.
According to Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey, the horrific sequence of events began when Brad Bartholomew picked up Park and brought her to the couple's home. There, Carey alleged in court, the pair forced the young woman into another vehicle and drove her deep into a wooded area. "They stabbed her, forced her to lie on the ground while they cut the baby out," Carey recounted grimly, noting that Park's remains were discovered by a group of hunters.
The location of the baby's remains are still unknown.

Trump is doing every thing he said he would do. Being shocked and complaining about every little thing is a waste of time.
You gotta roll with the punches and adjust to the things that impact you and yours.
