#CanyonCountry | A call for a baby not breathing went out at around 4:50pm Tuesday on Evi Lane in Canyon Country. CPR was performed on the 2 month old immediately but were unsuccessful. A Hazmat Task Force was called in due to possible carbon monoxide inside the home.

The Deputy requested backup and paramedics to the scene of the collision, stating they had been injured in the crash. The Deputy was later transported to the hospital in unknown condition. The condition of the civilian is unknown.

A Sheriff’s Deputy was transported to a local hospital after colliding with a civilian while responding to a call in Saugus, around noon. The incident occurred at Newhall Ranch Rd & Rye Cyn Rd, when a Deputy had been responding to a call with their lights and sirens.

While responding to the call for service, the Deputy entered the indicated intersection traveling northbound on Rye Cyn. After entering the intersection, the Deputy struck a civilian vehicle broadside, which had been travelling westbound on Newhall Ranch Rd.

Preliminary witness reports stated that CPR had been administered, however Sheriff’s Deputies at the scene later confirmed CPR was not administered at the scene. The rider was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

A motorcycle rider collided with a center median on Bouquet Cyn, just north of Seco Cyn, Sunday around noon. The crash occurred just before 3:30 PM, when a motorcycle traveling North on Bouquet Cyn in the #1 lane, collided with a center median, throwing the rider off his bike.
