@supermoe1985 if we actually had male privilege they'd be doing pronoun checks at the clinic before trans men go in for reproductive care. any male privilege we have is extremely conditional and very fragile and what it really is is cis-assumed privilege.

@naansequitur trans men not being in the habit of standing up for ourselves isn't evidence against your transphobia. you are allowed to have your genital preferences but the way people bring them up is always laced with an air of bioessentialism. so many better ways you could've phrased this.

@naansequitur being a cishet woman doesnt mean you're attracted to men with penises. you're a cishet woman who prefers penises but to imply that the definition excludes trans men or implies that trans men never have penises is 1: markedly untrue and 2: blatantly transphobic.

also you shouldn't word it as "i won't date trans women" bc that does imply that trans women all have penises, and to exclude a trans woman that has the anatomy you want IS transphobic. it really should just be about the anatomy and not about if someone is trans.

to expand more on the first point, the only time you need to be specifying your genital attraction for the most part is literally just to people you intend to date or sleep with. you don't need to make a post about it. you don't need to say it on a random trans person's post.

@biresistance they see us as women and therefore they don't feel threatened by us the way cis women feel threatened by trans women so cis men feel no need to argue about this shit. they just make laws to strip us of ours rights in congress without talking to us directly.
