“@NMalliotakis’ reckless actions violated Americans’ sacred right to a peaceful transition of power after a free & fair election... & went directly against her oath of office to the US Constitution.”
It is time for @RepMalliotakis to #resign.

Congratulations to the new executive board committee members of YDRC: President Lou Panicoulli, Vice President Aidan Rivera, Treasurer Drew, and Secretary Sail Porter.
We, the Young Democrats of Richmond County, strongly condemn the erroneous and outrageous rulings made by the Supreme Court on Thursday and Friday. In holding true to our beliefs as Democrats, we know that affirmative action and inclusivity are the foundation of our Democracy.
Save The Date!
After a 3-year hiatus, The Young Democrats of Richmond County will be hosting a fundraiser at the Pavilion on Sunday, Feb. 26th at 1pm! Ticket sales, sponsorships, and the flyer will be coming soon.
Every day is a great day to thank and honor our veterans for their service and sacrifice in protecting us and our way of life. Let’s use today to honor them even more by working to make sure they have access to the mental healthcare they need and deserve.
Happy Veterans Day
history. Our First Responders, many of whom ran directly into danger, knowing they would be likely sacrificing their lives for the sake of their fellow New Yorkers.
These were the best of New York City. And we will #NeverForget.
On the 21st anniversary of 9/11/01, we remember the empty places left at the tables of our neighbors, & the families who have had to bear that loss. We remember the everyday people who did extraordinary things by helping each other in one of the darkest times in our city’s…
"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. These are rights named by the Declaration of Independence, but they are made possible for working people because of unions.
Wishing a happy Labor Day to all!
Today, a July 4th Parade in Highland Park, IL was the victim of a mass shooting, killing 6 and injuring more than 30. We hold them in our hearts.
No state, no building, no gathering is immune to this singularly American epidemic. We need action now!
246 years ago, our forefathers embarked on the grand experiment that is our United States
At a time when we can see the rights of some of us being constrained in this country we love, we must continue to work towards a future that embraces the fact that we were all created equal
Today, the Supreme Court ignored 50 years of precedent, ruling that women have no control over the decisions made regarding their bodies. Make no mistake, this is not the end of abortion, it is the end of safe abortions.
Women’s rights will always be human rights.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, we acknowledge the barriers that still exist for true equality, and commit to continuing to educate ourselves and work to facilitate the knocking down of those barriers.

The United States was founded on a dream of freedom for all of its people. However, slavery continued well after the Revolutionary War was won.
Juneteenth celebrates emancipation, when that dream of freedom for all of the people in the United States began to be put into practice
On this Memorial Day, and everyday, we honor the sacrifice of the fallen and that of their loved ones. It’s important that we do not forget their sacrifice, nor the importance of reflection and meaning of this day.
Thank you to all who served.
We are saddened to hear of yet another mass shooting, this time at Robb Elementary School in Texas, that took the lives of 14 students & 1 teacher.
Thoughts and prayers are not, and have never been, enough. No one is safe from gun violence in this country and we need action NOW
This is another sad example of two scourges upon our society: gun violence and white supremacy. We cannot stop fighting to ensure that no one loses their lives to either ever again. (2/2)
