Great work from @UCSFMedicine@SiyouSong et al & mentor @UCSFPlastics Dr. Esther Kim on minimizing opioids by using pectoral nerve blocks.
So far no differences between groups regarding opioid use but the study is on-going to increase sample size!

Was on a zoom panel on professionalism and spoke about the challenges of grant writing/ funding esp as a POC woman. Male panelist DMs me to tell me to stop talking abt it- this is one of the MANY inherent sexist and racist issues we need to address in academia. I belong here.
